I have been fortunate to experience the great rewards of starting a successful non-profit organization. Prior to founding a non-profit, I completed a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of Illinois. Let me help you help you be successful with the business affairs of your non-profit.

Non-profit start-up

I can provide these services for non-profits anywhere in the U.S. I am especially experienced with start-up for animal welfare organizations.

• Help a new or “envisioned” non-profit work through the start-up process.
• Help you understand the feasibility and requirements for a non-profit you are envisioning.
• Help you complete IRS Form 1023, the 501(c)(3) application.

Non-profit bookkeeping

On an as-needed basis, I can:

• Set up your bookkeeping system for non-profit needs.
• Advise on how to handle typical non-profit bookkeeping scenarios. For example, I can help you with how to record donations vs. product sales vs. program revenue vs. in-kind donations.
• Provide any of the set-up, catch-up, and ongoing services described in my bookkeeping services list.
