I founded Silver Pearl Inc. in 2009 after a 25-year career in which I managed finances, people and computers for Fortune 500 companies as well as small start-ups. Prior to moving to North Carolina, I was a program manager for Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington.
My first job out of high school before going to college was as a bookkeeper for a small manufacturer using green lined paper ledgers, not computers – something we don’t see now-a-days. I did the employee payroll and drove to the bank every week to deposit the company’s money to assure all employees would get paid. Wisconsin snow drifts hampered me a few times, but payroll had to get through! My commitment to the clients I serve today is just as strong.
I am a Certified Quickbooks User (through Intuit, 2010) and a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and the American Association of Daily Money Managers.
