Hello. I’m Julie Dudley, owner of Silver Pearl Inc. I provide bookkeeping, financial reporting and budgeting for small businesses and individuals.
Whether you are setting up your bookkeeping, catching up on neglected books or cleaning up what you may consider a big mess, I’m here so you don’t give up on the important financial aspects of your business. Bookkeeping isn’t just for taxes–it helps you answer questions about your organization and run it more effectively.
I especially enjoy working with:
- Small professional service firms
- Individuals, from busy professionals to senior citizens
- New ventures for 50+ professionals and retirees
I founded Silver Pearl Inc. in 2009 after a 25-year career in which I managed finances, people and computers for Fortune 500 companies as well as small start-ups. Prior to moving to North Carolina, I was a program manager for Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington.
My first job out of high school before going to college was as a bookkeeper for a small manufacturer using green lined paper ledgers, not computers – something we don’t see now-a-days. I did the employee payroll and drove to the bank every week to deposit the company’s money to assure all employees would get paid. Wisconsin snow drifts hampered me a few times, but payroll had to get through! My commitment to the clients I serve today is just as strong.
I am a Certified Quickbooks User (through Intuit, 2010) and a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and the American Association of Daily Money Managers. I can provide you with references from certified public accountants and other professionals who have used my services. Learn more about my background here.
I understand that you have more important things to do than bookkeeping. But you also know that the details need to be done right, so that you and your financial professionals can make the best choices to maximize your financial outcomes.
Concerned about the current state of your bookkeeping? Don’t worry that your current bookkeeping is not organized enough for me to help you. I am not intimidated by boxes of receipts, or even flat-out chaos, and I am happy to do the start-up work to get your finances organized.
An initial consultation is always free. I will talk through your goals, questions and concerns.
